Today is game day at Ithaca! We will see you at the school. First pitch will 5 PM.

By most standards, Ithaca is a small school district. If district size were measured by heart, dedication, and drive - Ithaca would be one of the largest districts in the state!
Total enrollment at Ithaca is 344 (4k - 12) students, with 127 students calling Ithaca High School Home. Out of those 127, the Class of 2024 claims 35 students and 3 of those seniors will be competing in sports at the collegiate level.
It was signing day at Ithaca High School! We are proud to announce 3 Bulldogs signed letters of acceptance at universities and will be participating in sports in which they excelled while playing for the Bulldogs!
Josie Laue will be attending South Dakota State, pursuing a business degree and participating in Rodeo. Kaylee Peterson heads to UW-Stevens Point to study Environmental Education and will be a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Micah Salisbury will pursue a degree in Elementary education at UW-River Falls while playing Baseball for the Falcons.
The Ithaca District could not be any prouder of these 3 student-athletes.
Kaylee and Josie have both qualified for the state forensics contest for four years, and have earned a perfect score at the state contest. Micah joined forensics this season as a novice and performed very well. All three athletes are also part of the Ithaca High School band, and Josie and Kaylee are in choir. Each athlete is in three seasons of athletics, balancing academics and extracurricular activities very successfully.
Josie was chosen as State All-Around Cowgirl, in Volleyball was co-setter of the year in 2022 and solo setter of the year in 2024 in our conference, and has received numerous awards through FFA, including a State FFA Degree and Sectional Winner in Equine Placement.
Micah was a State Champion in baseball and all-state selection and is dual sport athlete this year in baseball and track. He was a part of this year's Ridge & Valley Conference Championship basketball team, and was honored with a 2024 Sportsmanship Award from the conference.
Kaylee was a dual sport athlete in cross-country and volleyball as a sophomore and State Champion 400m and three-time state qualifier in both track and cross country. Kaylee is also the Ithaca salutatorian.
Please help us celebrate sports and education by congratulating these 3 Ithaca student-athletes as they prepare for their next educational journey.
