You don’t have to use drugs to fit in. There are other ways to belong. Celebrate your uniqueness and show the world. We’ll have a photo booth available this week in observance of the Red Ribbon Week theme, and to celebrate you!

The Alsum Farms fruit, nuts, and cheese spread fundraiser is open! Back this year is the December calendar raffle. All fundraising materials have been handed out to Grades 6 through 12 band and choir students. Alsum forms and money must be turned in by Tues, Nov 14th. Absolutely no late orders will be accepted due to estimated delivery of Dec 12th. Calendar raffle tickets and money must be turned in before Thanksgiving break. Can’t sell yours? Each day this week, we will have a trivia question about drugs and alcohol. The class that calls in first with the correct answer each day will win a prize. Answers can be called in to extension 410. The Ithaca WIHA Team wrapped up their successful season this past weekend at State WIHA in Madison. Team members Maggie Kershner and Ellie Otto represented our school extremely well and earned top placings in several classes, including a top finish in 2-person relay. Congratulations to them as well as their coach Jeny Laue.

The Richland Center/Ithaca Cross Country teams had a big day at Sectionals! A huge congratulations to juniors Ryan Stadler, Clayton Lee, and Grace Fretz for qualifying for STATE Cross Country! This is the second trip for Ryan and Clayton, while Grace is making her debut in Wisconsin Rapids next Saturday at Ridges Golf Course. Day 3 in Indy!!! The morning was spent checking out the downtown and discovered a fun area around Monument Circle. We put on official dress and made our way to the National Convention Expo Center. Some great shopping and catching up with some of the WI State Officers. Concert to finish of the day!

Red Ribbon Week is observed each year from October 23rd until October 31st. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to present a visible commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life. The campaign is designed to create awareness concerning the problems related to the use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs and to support the decision to live a drug-free lifestyle. Next week, students will have opportunities to participate in activities to learn more about healthy choices, personal responsibility, and facts about drugs and drug abuse prevention.

After a first round bye, the Ithaca Lady Bulldogs will host North Crawford. The Trojans are coming off a victory over LaFarge Tuesday night. Join us at Ithaca tonight for playoff volleyball, gametime is 7 PM.
The 9-0 Ithaca Bulldog football team will host Randolph Friday night in playoff action at 7 PM.

Mrs. Boland's 4th hour class made up of 7th graders and two 4th graders learned about scale factor. They have to use their knowledge to make a scale drawing with measurements of the classroom. The students worked hard and enjoyed this lesson.
