Boys Middle School basketball starts Monday after school until 5:30. All interested should attend. Bring basketball attire. If athletes weren't in a fall sport, please make sure all your paperwork is in.
The Ithaca Wresting club and Ithaca schools need help installing a new sub-floor system in the mezzanine this Saturday. This new flooring system will make a much safer surface for all students and athletes.
Installation should take about 4-6 hours if we can get 8-10 volunteers. We are planning on starting at 7:00 AM on this Saturday October 19th. Please Let me know if you're able to help. If you have a cordless drill or impact please bring it along.

This Thursday October 17, Coach Mezera will invite those returning varsity players and those playing varsity in the summer league to breakfast at the Center Cafe at 9AM. We will be looking through samples and layouts for new uniforms. Please let Coach Mezera know if you plan on attending.

The Ithaca Richland Center Horse Club is having a spaghetti supper fundraiser tonight from 4 to 8 pm. Cost is $5.00 for students and $7.00 for adults. There will also be pies for sale!

It's that time of year again elementary students! Please bring your Boxtops, Village Hearth UPC codes, and Tyson labels in to your teacher to be counted! Please have all items in by Wednesday, October 23. The PTSO also has a collection bin outside the office for these items. We are also collecting toner, old cell phones and AA, AAA, C, D, and 9 Volt batteries to be recycled and these can be placed in labeled drawers in the same bin.
There will be an Ithaca School Fair and Home Coming wrap up meeting today at 5:00 in the LMC.
"One Hand Helps Another" is a fundraising effort started by student Natashia Mueller, inspired by her mom's journey with breast cancer that helps individuals, families, and organizations in the Ithaca community. Tomorrow, Monday, "One Hand Helps Another" is selling cupcakes for $1 in Ms. Sprecher's room during HS lunch and ATTACK time. On Tuesday, Natashia encourages everyone to wear pink and to stop in to buy Dirt Cake for $2.

High School Seniors: Apply for the Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship! Public school students must submit their completed applications, including letters of recommendation, no later than Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:59:59 pm. Applications submitted by the deadline without the three required letters of recommendation are incomplete and will not be considered. The purpose of the Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship program is to recognize student leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement. It is the goal of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation to encourage Wisconsin youth to pursue post-secondary education in a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college.
