Youth football sign up and practice will be on Thursday Sept.19th from 5:30-7:00.
The first Friday Popcorn of the year will be this Friday, Sept. 20. Cost is 50 cents a bag limit 2 bags per student please. We will come around at Attack time with teacher permission. Proceeds will go to the 2nd grade class.

The school year is off to a great start! All of the sports seasons are in full swing, and the students are settling in on their academic pursuits!
This Friday, (September 20th) is the STUDENT PUPIL COUNT. Wisconsin public school districts are required to count students for membership purposes. Basically, this is how the Ithaca school district is compensated monetarily for each student.
Please have your student in school this coming Friday (September 20th).
Remember to mark your calendars for September 28th for our Ithaca school fair and the Homecoming football game vs North Crawford! It will be a great time to see former classmates and renew friendships!
On Friday, November 1st we will be having a “Distracted Driving” presentation in the HS gym. The presentation, and hands on simulation, will be about texting and driving and other distractions. The public is welcome.

Ithaca is seeking substitute teachers! If you hold an Associates and/or Bachelors degree, CESA 3 is holding a training course that will help you obtain a substitute teaching certificate. There will be a PTSO meeting this Wednesday, Sept. 18 starting at 3:45 in the Library. All are welcome - we will be discussing the fair and the upcoming Rural Route 1 fundraiser.
Attention parents of basketball players from grades 1-12. We are currently seeking booster club members. If you love the game but don't want to coach, being a booster club member is perfect for you! On Monday, September 16th we will welcome speaker Grant Denton to Ithaca. Grant works with an organization called Think Kindness. Think Kindness is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring measurable acts of kindness around the globe. Each year they speak to over 100,000 students and have documented over 1.5 million acts of kindness. Parents, teachers, and students are all invited to come listen to Grant's awesome message! The elementary assembly will be at 1:00 and Middle/ High will be at 2:00.
Anyone wishing to enter a float in the Homecoming parade may pick up a parade entry form in the HS office or find it online on the school web page or Facebook page. Please enter by Wednesday, September 25 by contacting Rob Richards.
5th - 12th grade Band students are selling fundraising items, such as pizza, cookie dough, gift items, etc. Please contact them if you are interested in supporting them. Also, High School Band Students: Your next payment for your Florida trip is due on Monday, September 16.
Middle School Football families: Tonight's game in Boscobel is cancelled. There is also no practice.
Attention students showing pigs at the Ithaca Fair - you need to get your rope test results to Mr. Favreau ASAP. You will not be allowed to show or sell if you do not get this information in. Thank you.

The Bulldog Block Challenge is back! No pre-registration required - just show up and register that morning at 7 AM, Sept. 28 at the Ithaca Town Garage. $20 per person, no discounts. Max. per family is $60. Race begins at 8 AM. T-Shirts and “goody-bags” will be given to the first 45 participants who arrive. (Your t-shirt size not guaranteed). ALL participants will be entered into the raffle at the end of the race. See you there!!

It’s time for youth football. All Ithaca players 4th-6th grade are encouraged to participate. No sign up needed just show up Thursday September 12th. Practices will be Thursday evenings 5:30-7pm for six weeks. Just bring a concussion form filled out. You can print them from the school website under sports info. Try to show up earlier the first night to get your gear and turn in form.
