Today's schedule for Band and Choir is: 6th Grade - Choir, 7th Grade - Band, 8th Grade - Choir. All 8th grade choir students will rehearse today, and all HS choir students not going on the band trip should meet by the main doors. We'll be having full rehearsal in the old gym today"

HS Band students going to Florida, will meet in the Band Room during 5th hour. All HS Choir students, except for those going on the Band trip, will have Choir today.

Forensics students: Time to get ready for district! Take your materials home this weekend to practice, and arrange to meet with a coach next week.
Choir Students who sold Butter Braids: Change of plans... The Butter Braid order will come in on Thursday, March 4th. (changed from virtual Wednesday, March 3rd) This will allow students with small orders to take them home on the school bus. Students with large orders will still need an adult or driver to help them with their order pick up in the commons after school. Please change your calendars to reflect this delivery day.

FBLA DIME WARS to raise money for the March of Dimes has begun! Jars have been delivered to elementary and middle school classrooms and are outside the office in the Commons for high school classes and staff members. Ice cream treats will be given next Friday, March 5 to the classes with the largest donation in elementary, middle school and high school. Thank you for donating to help improve the health of mothers and babies.

Today in History: 1870 First African American Congressman sworn in - Hiram Rhodes Revels, a Republican from Natchez, Mississippi, is sworn into the U.S. Senate, becoming the first African American ever to sit in Congress. During the Civil War, Revels, a college-educated minister, helped form African American army regiments for the Union cause, started a school for freed men, and served as a chaplain for the Union army.
