When staff again or another staff member notifies Mr. Lechnir/Administration within the same day that the same student is not properly wearing a mask, the student will be sent home under a suspension for the remainder of that school day. Parents will be notified. Students will be required to respectfully join the classes virtually or be deemed unexcused. With any suspensions, there are repercussions that may apply to the co-curricular activity.

On Friday, September 29, 2006, a bright light in our community was taken away. John Klang was more than a principal, a father, a son, a husband, a friend. He was an inspiration in every aspect of his life. He was an advocate for young people, not only at the Weston School District, but also in our greater community. His loss is still felt, and the Ithaca School District extends its continued sympathy to the Weston School District and all who did and continue to mourn the loss of a truly great man. May we honor his memory by always trying to find the good. In loving memory of John Klang.

This Day in History: Sept 29 marks the anniversary of the death of Weston's Principal, John Klang. Breakfasts and lunches are free to all students this year! But we still need your help. We encourage EVERYONE to complete an application for the Free and Reduced Meals program. These forms create statistics the Department of Public Instruction uses to provide additional funding and resources to schools for educational programs, such as Title 1. Those statistics are also used for teachers and districts to apply for grants or scholarship opportunities. Taking five minutes to complete the fillable pdf or handwrite the application can result in huge opportunities for your students and our school. All information is kept confidential. Only one district employee sees the applications, and that is only to enter the data.
