Sara Jones, a 2021 Ithaca graduate, is vying for the title of “Ms. Star and Stripes” and you can help by voting for her.
“Ms. Star and Stripes” is searching for ONE woman who represents a “country” way of life to be crowned Ms. Stars and Stripes in 2022! The winner will be featured in a 2-page story in STAR Magazine and will win $25,000.
If chosen as the winner, Sara Jones plans to use the $25,000 to further her education. Ms. Jones went on to say “I would use it (the prize money) to further my education, I am currently working on Pre-Vet and eventually plan on going for Veterinary medicine with a specialty in Equine.” When asked why she would make a good “Ms. Stars and Stripes” she said “I was raised riding horses, from Saddle Seat, open trails , to roping and cow horse events. I'm also 4th generation on my family farm. My happy place is the barn. It's a great place to destress and work with the horses.”
You can support one of Ithaca’s own by voting for Sara Jones at the following link:
