During finals week, Careers students participated in Mock Interviews. They learned how to find job positions, how to apply for those positions, to write a resume, a cover letter, and how to prepare for an interview. We had volunteers from our community come in and conduct interviews to help students experience what an interview would be like and how they can best prepare. A special thanks to all our community volunteers.

What are your Sources of Strength? The Sources of Strength program teaches and promotes growing in resiliency and (8) protective factors, for when life gets hard. From the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, " Sources of Strength (SOS) is a supported strategy by the CDC’s (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) Comprehensive Suicide Prevention (CSP) program as it promotes connectedness and positive peer norms." Ithaca currently uses the Sources of Strength program at all levels (K-5 curriculum and Middle and High School peer-lead groups).
