FFA Week festivities continued yesterday with students and staff sporting their flannel. The excitement continued with milk drinking contests among the high school students.

There will be a popcorn sale this Friday, February 28. Cost is 50 cents a bag, limit 2 bags per student please. Proceeds this week will go to the Elementary and Middle School DI teams. Middle and High School students: we will come around to the classrooms to sell at Attack time with teacher permission.
All juniors and international students will be taking the ACT Test on Tuesday, March 3rd at the UW Platteville-Richland campus. The bus will leave from Ithaca School at 8:00a.m.,so please be on time. Students should return permission slips to Ms. Bevan by Friday, Feb. 28th.
FFA Week activities began yesterday. Day 1 of FFA week included a spaghetti eating contest. The freshman dominated both rounds!!
A reminder that this is FFA Week and our Dress Up Day for Tuesday will be Flannel Day and Wednesday is Camo Day...don't forget there will be Ice Cream on Friday for all high school students participating in the dress up days.
There will be Math ACT review this Wednesday evening from 4:30 - 5:30 and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30.
We will be having a short pep assembly on Thursday during ATTACK Time from 9:36am-10:06am . Our winter sports teams and the various club activities will be recognized. We will also be sending Sawyer Willis and Monty Jennings off to the Individual State Wrestling Tournament where they will be competing on Thursday night at the Kohl Center.
The middle school girls basketball teams will be playing their last game of the season tonight! 7th grade at 5:00, with 8th grade to follow. This will also be our parents night recognition! Join us in the old gym and come support your lady bulldogs!
Ithaca Elementary is looking for two (2) long term substitute teachers for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year! The best candidate for this position has a bachelor's degree in education and loves working with kindergarten or first grade students. Official experience and a state teaching license is preferred, but we welcome those with informal experiences as well. Candidates will be beginning the school year and filling one position for ten weeks or another for twelve. We ask that candidates are flexible and willing to work with the everyday changes that a classroom has to offer. She is currently a 6th grader at River Valley and receiving Leukemia treatments through American Family Childrens Hospital. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog. Spring is coming and so is Track season! The signup sheet is on the office window. We especially need as accurate of a count for boys, because we would like to get new uniforms this season. Our first practice is March 9th!
