Are you a junior or senior that may have some free time in the mornings? Want to earn some money and credits as a TA or volunteer? Ithaca Public Schools are in need of reliable junior and/or senior students to help on bus routes in the morning assisting with taking temperatures and documenting. This position would earn $9/hour for roughly two hours per day. Personal protective equipment would be provided, and some cleaning duties may be involved. Interested students must be in good academic standing and be able to get to school in the morning before bus routes begin. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian approval. To apply, complete an employment form and contact Brooke Hackl in the district office at 585-2512.

Ithaca will not be having its annual co-curricular meeting in August. All paperwork is still required to participate in extracurricular activities. You can find links to what is needed on the Ithaca website. Students and their parents/guardians need to read/watch the co-curricular code and sign it. You can watch the video from last year by clicking the following link https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=32hI5NPUDUs. The school has a few DVD copies that can be checked out if needed. Fall sport athletes should turn their paperwork into their coaches who will deliver it to the school. If your child doesn't play a fall sport have them turn their paperwork in when school starts. Thanks.
