This year will be unlike any sports year in Ithaca history. To try to help bring some sense of normalcy to the season Mrs. Summer Roh will be taking photographs at football and volleyball games. Remember, as of today fans are not allowed at athletic events. She does a fantastic job as many in the Ithaca community know. She'll also be capturing photos for the 2020-21 High School yearbook. If you would like to get in contact with her you can email her at rohsumm@ithaca.k12.wi.us. Doing so will help her to get you copies of the photos she takes. Thank You and Go Bulldogs! The tragic events of September 11, 2001 changed the U.S., and the world, forever. For those who were old enough to watch those events unfold, that day and the aftermath of the attacks has left an indelible mark. For those too young to remember, the legacy of 9/11 shapes their lives as a central event in world history. Today, we remember all those who lost their lives in this tragedy. We also remember the brave Americans-police, military, firefighters, and citizens- who risked their lives to bring others to safety.

For the first two weeks we will be using this schedule. Your 1st hour teacher is leading the 1 hr delay, so you should log in with the 1st hr teacher. ON WEDNESDAY's the schedule differes (see below the first schedule)
There have been some "expected" hiccups with some of the teachers getting into the zoom part of their class for the virtual students. W hope to have these cleaned up quickly. Also virtual students do not need to log into any study halls unless they have questions for their study hall instructor.
From Mrs. Prouty:
Happy First Day of School!!
I am a yellow! See our chart below, used today will all Middle and High school students.
I am very happy to announce that the USDA has approved free lunch and breakfast for all students. We still need your applications for free and reduced lunch for every family, but all will be given free food. Soon, probably tomorrow, we will send out the information about how to order for your children 18 and under, on the virtual days. I had previously sent out a survey, which is now closed, for this week's food. If you filled that survey out, Annette Louis is sending food home with your children today (for Wed.) and has arranged for the 100% virtual students' food to be picked up. (Please note this is a very small number of families- only about 20, so you are probably not getting the extra food today or tomorrow. If this is a hardship for your family, please let me know by contacting me via email.)
We have already had many glitches, errors, and mistakes. (And it is only 11:00!) Thanks to all of our families that let us know things did not go well; we are working on it. But, we are all HERE, in some way or another, trying our best. Tomorrow will be a learning day for everyone, but with grace and patience, we will all get better at this new way of learning.
