June 2nd, 2021 Today is a Day 2 The bus will leave at 1:00 for the Softball, Baseball game at LaFarge today. Because of away baseball games, the weight room will be closed after school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Volleyball summer camp forms were emailed to 8-11 grade volleyball players and parents last week and handed out to 3-7 graders. Since not everyone was at school, Mrs. Thompson will get one to you. Camp will be August 9-11 for this year’s 5-11 grade and August 12 for this year’s 3-4 grade. Last week our staff celebrated with Staff Appreciation Week. Staff were challenged to be creative by singing or dancing, brightening up someone's day with kind words or art, and were awarded with many PRIZES! All this was made possible by generous donors. A huge THANK YOU to the donors during Appreciation Week: Ithaca PTSO, Rob and Cheryl Richards at Richards Insurance, Julie Prouty, Lisa Granger at Kwik Trip, Mark Fillback at Fillback Ford, Ryan Jones at Jones Chevrolet, Tractor Supply, Pete and Emily Walsh at Walsh's Ace Hardware, Andrea Wertz at Court & Main, The Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells, and a special thank you to Richland Center Mayor Todd Coppernoll. Our staff is special each and every day, but this was a way that made them feel special and appreciated in many ways. Thank you!

Mrs. Preuss and Mrs. Pulvermacher's 5th Grade Field Trip headed to the Ithaca School Forest! In the morning they went on a Nature Hike around the school forest with Mrs. Preuss pointing out plants and Mrs. Pulvermacher pointing out tracks and scat. After lunch the group celebrated surviving this year’s school year by playing ball, imaginary games, and building forts in the woods. Some students asked if they could stay all night to keep building! What a great day to enjoy nature. Below are pictures from the beautiful day!
