Congratulations to Lora Hinzand Danny Feryance wrapping up the 2022 spring league with their trip to the national finals in Michigan over the weekend. They both had an awesome season. They may have come up just a little short of earning a medal at nationals but our communities are very proud of all their accomplishments this season. Congratulations Coach Larrabee. Also on behalf of the kids that went to nationals they would like to thank Don Ward for all the donations he has made to the team and for supplying the kids their shells at the national tournament. Your support of the kids is greatly appreciated. After the qualifier earlier in the weekend, 2 team members advanced to the finals: Lora Hinz  and Danny Feryance . Lora shot a 97 and Dannyshot a 95. Hayden Verthein shot a 92, Abby Verthein shot an 83 and SebastianTurner shot an 85. Congratulations Lora and Danny for making it to the finals.

Hi band students and parents! My name is Josiah Crawford, and I am excited to be the new band director here at Ithaca! It is time to start signing up for summer lessons. Jobs Duties & Responsibilities(but not limited to) • Have or willing to get CDL and passenger endorsement • Maintains a supportive and positive relationship with students, staff, and families. • Remains current with transportation practices, laws and regulations, at state and federal levels. • Supervises job performance of bus drivers. • Performs routine maintenance and repair of the district fleet of vehicles and contract with other professionals as needed. • Works with the principals to assure good student behavior on the buses. • Organizes, administers, and supervises the pupil transportation program, including regular transportation, extra-curricular trips, and classroom field trips. Evelyn Kolman passed away Monday June 13, 2022. Evelyn advocated for many Ithaca students over the years. She donated endless school supplies for Ithaca students and classrooms throughout the years. Most of her donations and work were done "under the radar" so many may not even know her name. At Ithaca, her generosity will NEVER be forgotten. Congratulations to our athletes that competed at the WIAA State Track and Field meet held at UW-LaCrosse! Caleb Marchwick placed 14th in shotput with a put of 44’9”, and he also placed 11th in discus with a toss of 138’05”. Ty Kershner competed Saturday in long jump, placing 13th with a jump of 18’10”. Kaylee Peterson placed 5th, making podium in the 800m run with a time of 2:21.06. Kaylee ran her preliminary on Friday in the 400m dash placing 1st in her heat. Saturday she ran her personal record of 58.75, making her the D3 State Champion in the 400 dash. We are extremely proud of our state participants for their outstanding efforts. Coach Lorenz would like to thank the fellow teammates, family and friends that came to cheer on the athletes.

Ithaca 5th Graders celebrated the close to the school year with a field trip to White Mound County Park. They kayaked and canoed and went for a hike in the morning with equipment and expertise from SOAC (Summer Outdoor Adventure Club) out of Reedsburg. Then spent the afternoon swimming!! Such a beautiful day! Thank you staff and families for supporting the students all year and making this happen.
