The Ithaca Happy Hour 4-H Club will have their first meeting of the 4-H year on Sunday, October 20 at 6 PM in the Willow Valley Church basement. All students 3rd grade and up are welcome to join – you do not have to go to Ithaca schools to join the Ithaca club. Current members remember to turn in your record books at that meeting.
Parents of students in grades Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd: the Ithaca Happy Hour 4-H Cloverbud after school Club’s next meeting will be after school on Wednesday, October 23 until 5 PM. Parents/guardians are informed of field trips via permission slips. Unlike an athletic event or music concert, field trips are not open invitations for the general public to attend. Therefore, as a safety precaution, field trips will no longer be listed on the calendar on the District's website.

The auction will be in the High School Commons with the pork sandwich meal. Breakfast and baked potato bar will be served in the Community Gym. Thank you for supporting music in our school while you curb your hunger and sweet tooth!
Ithaca Bulldogs celebrated the Great Apple Crunch yesterday! From small to big, Bulldogs enjoyed Gala apples courtesy of the generosity of Oakwood Fruit Farm. Students discussed their favorite varieties ( caramel apples make the cut, too) and talked about how they like to eat them. Thank you, Oakwood!
The Student Council would like to thank all those who attended and participated in last night’s homecoming games. It was a great success and a lot of fun! A big thank you to Mr. Klang, Mr. Kelly, and Mr Andresen for reffing and running the clock for the football game. To Aspen Young and Lyvia Pickel for keeping score of the volleyball games. Thank you to the advisors who helped greatly and made things run smoothly. The point totals for the games are as follows: 4th place with 12 points was the Freshmen Class. Tied for 2nd, the Sophomores and Juniors with 25 points. The winners were the senior class with 27 points total. Congratulations also to this year’s Homecoming Queen Bailey Wanless and King Sammy Clary!

Today, October 11: Bring in your gym exhibits (NOT animals) and pick up your tags from 2-7 PM (please wait until 2 for the fair committee to get set up and for the commons to be cleaned). Alumni Volleyball TONIGHT in the old gym starting at 5 PM. If you have Music Booster food donations you can drop them off at the kitchen after school and anytime until 7 PM. Thank you!

Tonight the class games begin at 5:00 in the High School gym and transitions to the football field for the crowning of royalty and other games. Friday is another full day with fair entry drop off and Alumni Volleyball games. AND SATURDAY!! Wow! Do it all! Sunday is the fall tractor ride, and next Sunday is the Ithaca Horse Show.

The class games will be after approximately 7:15-7:30 on the football field. King and queen will be announced after the games and before the tug of war. We will end the evening with class cheers! Student Council members, you are expected to attend, participate and help clean up. 🙂

Outstanding Ithaca Alumni have been selected for the Hall of Fame! Ithaca Hall of Fame honorees for Athletics and Community Service are Deidra (Faber) Schumacher from the Ithaca High School Class of 2002 and Brady Nelson, Class of 2005 (respectively)!
