Vaping Seminar offered by the Richland Hospital

-In 2019, about 1 in 3 high school students (4.7 million) and about 1 in 8 middle school students (1.5 million) were current (past 30-day) tobacco product users. - UW Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention

-In 2019, 40% of Richland County high school youth reported that they tried vaping. (Youth Risk Behavioral Survey).  That is around 280 young people.- Richland County, WI YRBS survey

-From July 2019- Septmeber 2019, 52 people were hospitalized in Wisconsin due to vaping/e cigarette use. - CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report September 27,2019 issue


Inconspicuous vaping is ever-evolving. Knowledge about the dangers is increasing. Attend the upcoming talk on vaping at the Richland Hospital.
