There is a sign up for Summer League Volleyball at River Valley outside the office. Summer League is played on Monday Nights in June and July. Any 2024 players grades 9-12 that are intending to play Summer League need to sign up by Thursday, May 23, 2024. An informational volleyball meeting will be held on Friday, May 24 in the LMC during attack. If you are planning to play volleyball next Fall, please attend this meeting.
From Mr. Herbst: Audience: All high school students The semester exam schedules for Wed, May 29 and Thur, May 30, 2024 have been emailed to students along with information regarding the expectations during semester exam dates. Make-up exams for excused absences are scheduled for Fri, May 31, 2024 at a time TBA with your teacher(s).
From the Kitchen: Audience: All high school students To ensure an accurate lunch count for food preparation, students who intend to eat lunch at school during semester exams will need to sign-up with Annette by the end of the school day on Tue, May 28. If you sign up for but do not eat school lunch, then you will still be charged, since a lunch was prepared for you.
From the Business Office: Audience: All Seniors Please remember that all dues, fines, and food service account balances must be paid in full prior to receiving your diploma. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
From FFA: Thank you to everyone that has purchased flowers from the greenhouse. We still have a variety of baskets, bedding plants, geraniums, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, broccoli and cauliflower. Stop in Saturday from 9 to noon, anytime during the school day or contact Ms. Sprecher.
From Coach Lorenz: State Bound! Congratulations to the Ithaca/Weston Track and Field team members who qualified for the State Meet at UW-LaCrosse next Friday and Saturday! Bangor Sectional Champions are Kaylee Miller in the High Jump and Kaylee Peterson in the 800m run. Clayton Lee placed 3rd in the 1600m run. The girls 4X100m relay of Abri Koch, Kaylee Miller, Tristen Peterson, Kaylee Peterson and alternates Bailey Wanless and Maggie Kershner placed 4th. The apparel store will open soon and will close quickly, so get your order in!
From Mr. Kelly: There will be a football meeting for those interested in playing next fall during ATTACK on Fri, May 24 in Mr. Kelly's room.
From the Sophomore Class Advisers: Many of you have not paid your dues for the year yet. You must pay them by Tue, May 28. Check your email for a list of those with outstanding dues.
From Ms. Durkin: All middle and high school art students, please pick up your artwork in the art room this week and next. Anything left in the art room on Fri, May 31 will be recycled.
From the Ithaca Technology department: The technology department will NOT be loaning out ANY Chromebooks the final week of school (May 28—May 31). We have finals that week, so make sure you bring YOUR assigned device with you as none will be available. Also, during the final week we will be turning in Chromebooks after all classes no longer have a need for students to have a device. Please remember, you were assigned a device, bag, and charger. When we run our device check-in, if any one of these are not present your family will be billed for a replacement. Seniors, we will be collecting your devices before graduation practice, so please be prepared to turn in devices at that time.
