From Mr. Herbst: Audience: All high school students - Mr. Herbst has shared the exam schedules for Wed, May 29 and Thur, May 30, 2024. Make-up exams for excused absences are scheduled for Fri, May 31, 2024 at a time TBA with your teacher(s).

Sophomores: many of you have not paid your dues for the year yet. You must pay them by next Tuesday. Check your email for a list of offenders.

From the Business Office: ATTENTION ALL SENIORS, please remember that all dues, fines, and food service account balances must be paid in full prior to receiving your diploma. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

From Coach Lorenz: On to Sectionals! Congratulations to all the Ithaca/Weston High School track and field athletes on a strong showing at the regional meet last night. This regional has some of the toughest regional competition in the state for our division. There were many personal records and your coaches are proud! This Thursday, May 23rd is the sectional meet at Bangor High School. These athletes placed in the top four results to compete. Clayton Lee placed 1st in the 3200m run and 2nd in the 1600m run. Kaylee Peterson placed 1st in the 800m run. Kaylee Miller placed 1st in the high jump. The girls 4X100m relay of Aubri Koch, Kaylee Miller, Tristen Peterson, Kaylee Peterson, and alternates Bailey Wanless and Maggie Kershner placed 3rd. The girls 4X400m relay of Kaylee, Aubri, Tristen, Kaylee and alternates Bailey and Maggie placed 3rd. Aubri placed 3rd in the triple jump. Tristen placed 3rd in the long jump and 4th in the 100m hurdles. The girls 4X200m relay of Kaylee Miller, Maggie, Bailey, Aubri and alternates Lia Puig and Jasmine Meyer placed 4th.

From Ms Durkin: There will be a Student Council meeting in the Art Room on Tue, May 21, during lunch.

From Mr. Klang: There will be an Archery Club Meeting in Mr. Klang's room during ATTACK Tue, May 21 for any interested 6th-12th grade students that would like to shoot a bow at the 3D Course this summer.

From Ms. Bevan: Students in grades 8-11: Your scheduling session with teachers will be on Thur, May 23. We will run on a one-hour delay schedule. Seniors do not have to report until 8:55 a.m. If you have scheduling questions, please stop down before Thursday.

From Mrs. Stellner and Mrs. Pluemer: Both Middle and High School Sources of Strength groups will meet this Thur, May 23, in the LMC during ATTACK. This will be our last meeting for the year.

From Mr. Kelly: There will be a football meeting for those interested in playing next fall during ATTACK on Fri, May 24 in Mr. Kelly's room.

From Ms. Durkin: All middle and high school art students, please pick up your artwork in the art room this week and next. Anything left in the art room next Fri, May 31 will be recycled.

From the Ithaca Technology department: The technology department will NOT be loaning out ANY Chromebooks the final week of school (May 28—May 31). We have finals that week, so make sure you bring YOUR assigned device with you as none will be available. Also, during the final week we will be turning in Chromebooks after all classes no longer have a need for students to have a device. Please remember, you were assigned a device, bag, and charger. When we run our device check-in, if any one of these are not present your family will be billed for a replacement. Seniors, we will be collecting your devices before graduation practice, so please be prepared to turn in devices at that time.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY: May 21, 1881: In Washington, D.C., humanitarians Clara Barton and Adolphus Solomons found the American National Red Cross, an organization established to provide humanitarian aid to victims of wars and natural disasters in congruence with the International Red Cross.
